The task

Creating an online store based on the Shopify platform for selling sport goods.

The following requirements were imposed on the site: bilingualism (English and French), adaptation for PC and mobile devices, the ability to customize objects such as menu items, text, images, icons, and other elements. Special attention was paid to filtering products using meta-fields, so that the administrator could independently add the necessary filtering parameters and search tags. It was also necessary to add a product review system, implement a product delivery cost calculator, and optimize the site for SEO.

Progress

Development began with our UX/UI designer preparing a site layout in Figma based on the provided samples and technical specifications. After approving page designs one by one, such as:

– product grid page

– collections

– blog

– cart

– about us

– contact page

– payment

We started directly developing the Front-end and Back-end elements of the website and adapting them to both the desktop and mobile versions.

The result

This project was successfully implemented in a fairly short time for this type of development – 1 month. The site turned out to be dynamic and highly customizable. At the moment, the site is being filled with content (since this task was not included in the agreed scope of work) and it is being tested. The customer from France was satisfied with the work of our team.
